Writing Experience
Amanda has over twelve years of experience in medical writing and been working on a full-time freelance basis since 2001.
Amanda Strong is a medical writer based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. She specialises in content development for multimedia, marketing, and sales training. She also covers advisory board meetings, and medical conferences on a regular basis.
Training Experience
In addition to writing, Amanda teaches medical writing classes at Concordia University in Montreal. She also offers personalized training for groups or individuals.
PAAB Experience
Amanda has worked extensively with the Canadian PAAB code, and is also familiar with the regulatory submission requirements for many US-based pharmaceutical companies. In 2007 and 2008, she worked with PAAB and the Canadian chapter of the American Medical Writers’ Association (AMWA) to design two PAAB training programs tailored to the needs of Canadian medical writers.
